WHY NIMBA?

Nimba was born of the fusion of two typically contradictory styles: the timelessly elegant traditional artisanship and the fiercely modern. Intended to be collected and worn everyday, Nimba's pieces have redefined the art of jewelry stacking and layering. Every item is unique, and every collection brings a western modern edge style and the traditional African handcrafting.

Our Story

Sustainability

MOVING BEYOND MINES AND MURKY SUPPLY CHAINS

There’s always been murkiness surrounding how fine jewelry is made. Nimba is our way of channeling our heritage into a modern jewelry brand that delivers true traceability. By using only ethically sourced pure silver silver, we can cut out all the murky middlemen and control the whole jewelry process, from design to delivery.

ELEVATE YOUR EVERY DAY

Our fine jewelry is made to last. We use only solid silver — that’s strong enough to withstand daily life and means no plating that might wear away over time. If you are looking for a special occasion piece, we also offer custom jewelry that puts our Nimba twist on traditional designs.

HANDMADE TO ORDER

Everything is handmade and no two items are alike, in that every piece is unique, and we keep in touch with you from the moment you place an order, right through to when that black box arrives through your door. Although we're doing things differently, we haven't completely turned away from our Guinean heritage. We track every step of our jewelry's journey from the recycler to each of the independent makers we work with to bring your piece to life. High-quality, low-impact, and full traceability – it's that simple.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

At Nimba, we believe jewelry is more than an accessory; it's a personal piece you want to cherish and wear every day. Quality is important because jewelry is always in contact with our skin, and it needs to be long-lasting.
